DRAWING IN SPACE

"I really like the idea.  I like the film as well.  It all looked very exciting when we first walked in.  I wish we could come back at the end of the day to what it looks like finished."

"I like doing my own painting and that it goes on the wall with the others."

"I'm painting this really really small thing, but it'll end up big."

"Great to have things like this on our doorstep - and for free."

"It's good having something different to do as a family."

Some of the comments from children and families who attended Drawing in Space.

Drawing in Space was the title of the Big Draw Family Day held at Rose Hill Primary School on 11 October 2008. Exploring time, space, the universe and everything, particle physicist Dr Steven Biller and artist Miranda Creswell led a day-long drawing workshop for families. This fun day of art activities was inspired by the Charles and Ray Eames film Powers of Ten.
