OUR SPACE

In April 2008, artist Katy Beinart worked with a group of young people who took photographs of Rose Hill revealing unusual views alongside more familiar scenes.

The group mapped out places on the estate that are important to them, and to Rose Hill's history and identity, with a particular focus on the changes brought by current regeneration. The resulting images, which the young people selected and digitally manipulated, create a tour of the estate with some unexpected sights along the way.

The photographs were displayed in Modern Art Oxford’s Café between April and June 2008.
